Let's work on your idea.

We translate your sewn product idea into a prototype.

Our specialty is in soft goods product development.

Do you have ideas?

Whether you're just yourself or a business team, we work with ideas that involve soft goods. We create a new idea or improve an existing design to optimize its production assembly and efficiency. We're familiar with coordinating production with overseas sources, including what suppliers need to know and understanding cultural differences. From movie props, medical equipment, bags, tents, and more - we love working on new and different products.

What we're proud of

With 30 years of experience, we've worked with a wide array of clients all over the United States, including Yeti, Dell, Spectro-Ametek and many others. Although we've brought many ideas to life from scratch, other clients have come to us with already-developed prototypes that weren't working for them and required improvements. We've even been sub-contracted by other prototyping companies. We love a design challenge!

Successful products typically begin with well-conceived and constructed prototypes. Ours often improve on the original concept.

OUR STORY

Design is a craft.

ProtoMaker started off as an idea itself - as a way to empower you and your ideas. When others started coming to us to fix their existing less-than-ideal prototypes, we realized that our 30+ years of sewing and medium-scale manufacturing experience allowed us to more efficiently gauge and assess an idea, and this sets us apart. Now, we're doing what we love most: having fun bringing all kinds of ideas to life.

We want to help you bring your idea to reality.

"Miracles happen. Pigs can fly. But it took Nga Keith to make it sew. This cork-screwed tale began last summer when Pink Floyd mega-fan Mike Luba came into possession of a rock icon: the 40-foot inflatable pig that toured with the band, circa 1988."
